Abstract
One of the developments being carried out by the government, especially developing countries, is the problem of poverty alleviation. Poverty is a problem that becomes an obstacle to development in Indonesia, because the problem of poverty has become a complex problem so that a country is unable to overcome poverty alone. So the government continues to strive to achieve prosperity by reducing poverty. One of the programs carried out by the government for poverty alleviation is the Family Hope Program. The program provided by the central government is regulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Social Affairs Number 1 of 2018 concerning the Family Hope Program. This study aims to determine the policy evaluation of the Family Hope Program in Gresik Regency through six indicators from William N Dunn (2003), namely effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equity, responsiveness, and appropriatness. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with interviews, observation, documentation and literature study. The results of the study show that the evaluation of the family hope program policy in Gresik Regency is still not optimal. This is shown by the program which is still not effective in reducing poverty and inequality in Gresik Regency. Then the indicators of adequacy, adequacy, and accuracy are also considered to be still not good. However, the implementation of the family of hope program in Gresik Regency has achieved efficiency. Also, it is considered satisfactory according to the beneficiary family of Gresik Regency.
