Abstract
In the soil live various types of organisms that can be distinguished into types of animals and plants, both micro-sized and macro-sized. Some of the organisms that live in the soil are beneficial, some are a nuisance, and some are not useful but also don't bother. This research was conducted in Suru Village, Dawarblandong District, Mojokerto Regency, East Java. Sampling was conducted in eucalyptus plantations, sengon forests and teak forests. This research was conducted using the hand sorting method and simple random sampling on a plot measuring 20 x 50 m (1000 m2) by making quadrants measuring 25 cm x 25 cm and a depth of 30 cm. In each land the sampling was divided into three plots. Observation parameters include the number and types of soil macrofauna. The results showed a diversity index on Kayu Putih, Sengon, and Jati lands. The diversity index for Kayu Putih, Sengon, and Jati lands is below the number 2 so that the diversity index of the three lands is in the low category.
