Abstract

In Indonesia, there are several interesting tourist destinations that can be visited by backpackers, one of which is the island of Bali. The island, known as the Island of the Gods, is known for its natural beauty, so this island is a gathering place for backpackers, both domestic and foreign. Before carrying out tourism activities in Bali, of course backpackers need information about tourist attractions and travel routes to get to these tourist attractions. The problem that arises is that backpackers do not have sufficient knowledge about the tourist attractions to be visited, unlike tour guides who already know many things about tourist attractions such as detailed information and travel routes to these tourist attractions. To solve this problem the author wants to do research, namely the Design and Development of Backpacker Tour Guide Applications Using the Floyd-Warshall Algorithm. The application of the Floyd-Warshall Algorithm in this Android-based application can provide recommendations for efficient tourism travel routes from several tourist attractions for backpackers who are traveling by sorting the tourist attractions that are closest to the place of arrival or initial tourist attractions.
