Abstract

A credit card is a tool that can be used to make payments for obligations arising from an economic activity. Credit cards are generally used to replace money as a means of payment for a product or service by the public. At one of the state-owned banks, there is a Sales & Marketing Credit Card division under the Transaction & Funding department which is responsible for handling and managing one of the banking products, namely credit cards. Problems were found in the process of assessing each customer to provide final results regarding the requirements or criteria set by the bank. Each credit card sales personnel sends customer data to be assessed one by one which can be considered quite time-consuming administration which can still be trimmed. These problems can be handled by developing a decision support system for credit card applications that can assess customers simultaneously. This research uses the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (F-AHP) method. The F-AHP method is a combination of the AHP method with a fuzzy approach. The F-AHP method is proposed to overcome the problem of the hierarchy of criteria, because the F-AHP method can determine the maximum weight of the main criteria. The application of the F-AHP method to decision support systems has an accuracy of 95%. These results are used as a feasibility recommendation feature for prospective credit card recipient customers
