Abstract
This study aims to identify sources of risk in production and income of star fruit businesses, to analyze the level of risk in production and income and to find out the efforts or ways to control production and income risks in Tasikmadu Village, Palang District, Tuban Regency. This research was conducted in September 2022, the population in this study were star fruit farmers in Tasikmadu Village with a total of 34 respondents who were selected using Simple Random Sampling. The results of the analysis based on the fish bone diagram identified 14 sources of risk which were divided into eight production risks and six income risks. Then analyzed using failure mode and effect analysis showed the highest risk priority number value was 392 which was caused by erratic weather changes. Farmers need to get counseling and guidance in conducting starfruit farming in order to reduce the level of risk that occurs.
