Abstract
Mustard greens (Brassica rapa Subsp Chinensis) is a vegetable plant that is often grown in urban farming programs by utilizing the city's narrow land through a verticulture system. This study aims to obtain the composition of the planting medium and the most appropriate dosage of liquid organic fertilizer for the growth and yield of mustard greens. This study is a factorial with two factors arranged in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The first factor is the composition of the planting medium soil : compost : manure (v/v/v) (K) with three levels, namely: K1 = 1:1:1, K2 = 1:1:2, and K3 = 1:2:1. The second factors is the dose of liquid organic fertilizer NASA (D) with 3 levels, namely D1 = 2 ml/plant, D2 = 4 ml/plant and D3 = 6 ml/plant. The results showed that the combination teatments of the composition of the planting media and the dosage of liquid organic fertilizer had a significant effect on fresh weight of crown, total fresh weight of plants and fresh weight of roots of mustard greens. The combination treatments of the composition of the planting media soil: compost: manure (1:1:2) and dosage of POC NASA 4 ml /plant (K2D2) gave the best results for crown fresh weight and total plant fresh weight with a successive increase of 85.47 % and 82.31% compared to the combination treatment of the composition of the planting medium Soil: Compost: Manure (1:1:1) and dosage of liquid organic fertilizer NASA 2 ml/plant (K1D1).
