Abstract
The selection of the type of foundation is the most important thing because both pile and drilled pile foundations have their respective advantages and disadvantages. One of the drawbacks of using piles lies in their erection which can damage surrounding buildings if done in a densely populated environment. Drill piles can be chosen as an alternative solution even though they have a smaller carrying capacity. The small bearing capacity value can be changed by enlargement at the end of the pile which will increase the axial bearing capacity of the planned pile. Analysis and modifications were carried out in dr. Soewandhie Surabaya. The results of the calculation of the bearing capacity of the bored piles using the Nakazawa method are obtained with ratios of 0.979 for a diameter of 70 cm, 1.138 for a diameter of 80 cm, 1.356 for a diameter of 90 cm, and 1.416 for a diameter of 100 cm compared to the pile bearing capacity calculated by the Mayerhoff 1956 method The reduction of the group piles analyzed has met the requirements based on SNI 8460: 2017 article 9.2.4.3. with the resulting settlement value inversely proportional to the number of piles and the planned diameter of the piles. Calculation of the lateral bearing capacity using the Broms equation and the calculated deflection value meets the requirements based on SNI 8460:2017 article 9.7.3.1 with the results of the deflection value being inversely proportional to the planned pile diameter and the calculated depth of pinch point. The calculation of drilled pile reinforcement meets the requirements of SNI 2847:2019 Article 10.61.1.1. for longitudinal reinforcement and Section 10.6.2.1. for transverse reinforcement with longitudinal reinforcement requirements of 16-D19 for a diameter of 70 cm, 18-D19 for a diameter of 80 cm, 17-D22 for a diameter of 90 cm, and 16-D25 for a diameter of 100 cm with transverse reinforcement D13-150 mm for all variants pole. The results of the analysis of this study concluded that the most effective pile is a drilled pile with a diameter of 80 cm based on the capacity of the pile group and the number of piles needed.
