Abstract
In this modernization era, the development of the superhero film and comic industry around the world is growing so rapidly, one of which is the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Horizon Comics, in April 2016 Horizon Comics sued one of the films produced by the Marvel Cinematic Universe, namely Iron Man 3 which was judged to have committed an act of plagiarism on one of its posters which is similar to the Radix poster from Horizon Comics. This study aims to identify cases of plagiarism problems that occur between the two parties. This study uses a qualitative technique with an observational approach, namely by visual analyzing the same sign on the two posters. The results of the study show that not entirely the poster from Iron Man 3 is similar to the Radix poster, plus by observing several sources and results from court trials.
