Abstract
3D animation is a medium of entertainment and information delivery. In the industrial era 4.0, there are already many companies that use 3D animation to promote the goods to be sold, one of which is Apple with one of its products, namely "MacBook Pro, which will be released in 2021. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using 3D animation in advertisements from the Apple brand released in 2021. In the development of an increasingly rapid era, technology is now growing. This makes Apple release an advertisement on their brand entitled “The New MacBook Pro” which released in 2021. This research uses a quantitative approach and a questionnaire method. The focus of this research are: (1) Paying attention to the effectiveness of the implementation of advertising with 3D animation in the community. Can it influence people's interest to watch the ad or not. (2) This research is also expected to be a consideration for other companies to use 3D animation media as product advertisements. The result of this study is an analysis that the use of 3D animation in the advertisement "The New MacBook Pro" released in 2021 can influence the public to watch it, so that the message and content of the advertisement can be conveyed.
