Abstract
The purpose of this research is to find out, analyze, and test how the influence of profitability, leverage, and dividend policy on investment moderated by growth opportunity. The selection of this research sector, namely consumer goods industrial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016 to 2020, cannot be separated from the consumption needs of the Indonesian people. There are 66 companies as the population of this study. In addition, 20 companies were selected as research data with a sampling method that targets these companies based on predetermined criteria. The regression model uses Moderated Regression Analysis with data processing assisted through the SPSS version 26 application. The results of this research show that profitability and leverage have a positive and significant effect on investment, while dividend policy has a negative and significant effect on investment. However, growth opportunity is not able to moderate the effect of profitability and leverage on investment.
