Abstract
The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the Covid-19 virus outbreak a global pandemic, where the virus spreads between people who have close contact. This approach in handling health services during a global crisis such as the Covid-19 pandemic is very important. Therefore, the application of a technology-based approach such as the mHealth Application allows it to be used in assisting health services during the Covid-19 pandemic. One of the approaches taken with regard to mHealth is the use of a contact tracing application. The Covid-19 contact tracing application has been implemented in many countries, one of which is Indonesia, namely the PeduliLindung application. The PeduliLindung application is an important application to use during the Covid-19 pandemic because it is expected to help reduce the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The success of implementing a contact tracing application such as the PeduliLindung application depends on the willingness of the public to use the application. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the factors that can influence people's intention to use the PeduliLindung application. This study adopts the UTAUT model which has been modified and adapted to a case study with the theme of a contact tracing application during the Covid-19 pandemic. The number of samples used is 400 users of Aplikasi PeduliLindungi who are Indonesian citizens. The model testing in this study uses the SEM-PLS technique and is tested using the SmartPLS software. The results of the study show that Performance Expectancy, Facilitating Conditions, and Covid-19-related stress are factors that significantly influence the intention to use Aplikasi PeduliLindung. Meanwhile, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, Innovativeness, and App-related Privacy Concern were found to have no significant effect on user intentions in using Aplikasi PeduliLindung. This research is expected to provide insight to understand the factors that can influence the intention to use contact tracing applications.
