Abstract
The Human Development Index (HDI) is an index to assess the capability of economic development results (level of human development) so that it can be measured whether a country's economic policies affect the quality of life of its people. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of variables on population through data and figures assisted by statistical programs and to analyze General Allocation Funds, Average Years of Schooling, and Economic Growth on the Human Development Index in Purwakarta Regency using data from 2008-2022 . This research consists of two variables: the dependent variable, namely the Human Development Index (Y), and the independent variables, namely General Allocation Funds (X1), Average Years of Schooling (X2), and Economic Growth (X3). The method used is a quantitative research approach supported by an associative approach. The research technique uses panel data analysis techniques with multiple linear regression. The results of the research show that the data in Purwakarta Regency in the 2008-2022 period is that the General Allocation Fund variable (X1) has a positive and significant effect on the Human Development Index (Y), the Average Years of Schooling variable (X2) has a positive and significant effect on the Human Development Index ( Y), and the Economic Growth variable (X3) has a positive and significant effect on the Human Development Index (Y).
