Abstract
PT Bungah Andya Teknik is a telecommunications network contractor company that focuses on producing piles for fiber optic networks of various sizes. This research will focus on pile products measuring 7 meters and 9 meters. Based on observations and interviews conducted at PT Bungah Andya Teknik, the company has limited production capacity and the production planning carried out is less accurate because it does not involve historical data on past demand. The aim of this research is to create a production plan by determining the optimal production volume in order to obtain maximum sales profits with the method used, namely goal programming and focusing on minimizing positive and negative deviations in the objective function. The results of calculating the company's real sales profit in August – October 2023 are IDR 261,800,000 and the results of calculating sales profits using the goal programming method are IDR 403,900,000. The difference in income from the two methods is IDR 142,100,000, so it can be concluded that the goal programming method can provide the best solution in planning production. Then forecasting profit calculations for August – October 2024 were also carried out using the goal programming method. The result of forecasting profit calculations for that month is IDR 527,300,000.
