Abstract
The development of information technology in the current era is very fast in its application and use so that information technology can develop widely evenly in various fields, one of which is the recommendation for the closest distance for backpackers to find tourist attractions, souvenirs, places of worship and hotels where they will stay. Where the development of technology now makes it very easy for a backpacker to explore the world more, especially exploring the Island of the Gods, Bali. In this research, the dataset is divided into 4 categories, namely hotels, tourism, souvenirs and places of worship. To determine the closest distance, a process is carried out on the reference point, namely the partner, using the Manhattan distance calculation. Each partner has a different number of datasets, namely, hotel partners have 110 datasets, while tourism partners have 96 datasets, souvenir partners have 20 datasets, and places of worship have 110 datasets. The total amount of test data is 336 datasets from the 4 partners, where from the data test results using accuracy, precision and recall, results were obtained where the accuracy level was 86.90% and the Precision value was 96.5% and the Recall value amounting to 91.2%.
