Abstract
In an organization, of course, there are several departments or divisions that have their respective responsibilities. Where each department has members who match their skills and abilities in that department. This division is often done by the head organization or department heads that require consideration and time. This is influenced by the observations made before determining which prospective members fit into which department. During a pandemic, of course, it was not possible to make direct observations on the performance of prospective members, so this research developed an expert system that aims to help the chairman's performance determine the suitability of prospective members with departments within Himasifo. This research expert system was built using the Fuzzy Logic and Certainty Factor calculation methods. The calculation begins with Fuzzy Logic recording the answers of prospective members in the form of statements and then processing them in Defuzzification, which then results will be calculated using Certainty Factor, Combine, and normalized into the form of percent compatibility in each department. This information system will provide several questions that are in accordance with the conditions of the prospective members, then the answers will be calculated and will result in a match between the prospective members and the existing departments. This system has been tested using 35 data, the results of the system's answers will be compared with the answers from the sources as a determinant of system rules. After testing, the accuracy rate of this system is 74.29%.
