Abstract
Sugihrejo Village is one of the villages in the Kawedanan District, Magetan Regency, which has an area of 2.31 km2, which is the 7th largest village among the 20 other villages in the Kawedanan District. The area of paddy fields in Sugihrejo Village is covering an area of 131.66 Ha, and the majority of residents in Sugihrejo Village work as rice farmers. Therefore this study aims to 1) analyze the factors that influence rice production in Sugihrejo Village, Kawedanan District, Magetan Regency. 2) to analyze the efficiency of the use of farming production factors in Sugihrejo Village, Kawedanan District, Magetan Regency. 3) to analyze the income of rice farmers in Sugihrejo Village, Kawedanan District, Magetan Regency. This study was analyzed using multiple linear regression where this study required 67 samples of rice farmers in Sugihrejo Village. The results of this study can show that the variables of land area, seeds, fertilizers, labor, and pesticides affect rice production. Variable land area, fertilizer, and labor in farming have NPMxi/Pxi less than one, which means that the use of the three production factors above is not efficient. And for the variables of seeds and pesticides, the NPMxi/Pxi values are greater than one, which means they are not efficient. the average amount of income earned by rice farmers in Sugihrejo Village in one farming season per harvest is Rp. 2.489.055,-.
