Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out the mechanism or system of rice procurement carried out by the Bulog Branch Office of Kediri, to predict the development of the number of commercial rice procurement at the Bulog Branch Office of Kediri, and to analyze the control of rice supplies carried out by the Bulog Branch Office of Kediri. The sampling technique in this study was carried out by purposive sampling. Data analysis used descriptive analysis, quadratic trend method, and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) analysis. The result of this research is that the rice procurement mechanism or system carried out by the Bulog Branch Office of Kediri is in accordance with the applicable SOP. The results of the analysis of rice procurement which has been carried out using the quadratic trend method of rice procurement in 2022, 2023 and 2024 have experienced a significant increase. The economical number of rice orders is 2,336.68 kg. The total safety stock is 224,730 kg. The maximum inventory amount is 268,096.88 kg. The number of reorders was 241,967.64 kg.
