Abstract
The development of the industrial sector is increasing rapidly, one of which is the furniture or furniture industry. In Indonesia, the furniture industry has enormous potential to develop because it has abundant raw material support, both wood, bamboo and rattan, and is supported by skilled human resources. The furniture industry plays an important role in increasing state finances because furniture products are needed not only domestically but abroad also have a high demand for furniture products. In Indonesia, the furniture industry is spread throughout the archipelago with very large centers. In addition, the growth of the furniture industry sector in Indonesia shows a positive trend, where from year to year the number of business actors is increasing. One of the furniture industry companies, namely PT Wonojati Wijoyo, which is located on Jalan Mataram No. 01 Karangrejo Village, Ngasem District, Kediri Regency. This company was established based on the deed of Noor Irawati, SH. Number 20 on August 10, 1984, by Mr. Hartono Wijoyo. The choice of company location is an important matter because it has a major influence on the development and survival of the company. Since the establishment of this company, PT Wonojati Wijoyo in 1984 has entered into a cooperation contract with East Java KPH II and has also collaborated with the Ministry of Manpower regarding employment, regional minimum wages (UMR) and labor services. PT Wonojati Wijoyo is a company a family that produces all kinds of furniture and is exported abroad, one of which is Virginia, United States. The raw material for making furniture products at PT Wonojati Wijoyo only uses teak wood because it has properties that are resistant to extreme weather. One of the products made by the company to fulfill requests from Kingsley Bate America's Leading Manufacturer of Teak Outdoor Furniture, where the design, type and size are in accordance with the request of the customer. Therefore, the field work practice report will discuss general tasks, namely the production process of TI 47 tables with the subject of production management, production processes, and production results. While the discussion regarding special assignments, namely human resource management at PT Wonojati Wijoyo.
