Abstract
The government in realizing good governance is one of them by applying various information technologies to provide information and services in egovernment. The use of information technology in public organizations aims to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of overall organizational performance. In this case the website is very helpful in providing convenience services and in accessing information, communication and public transactions with the government through the internet. The current existence of the website is as a medium of information transparency and Law Number 14 of 2008 concerning Openness of Public Information as a carrier for the implementation of information disclosure.This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. This research was conducted in two stages namely, (1) data collection was carried out by observation and documentation, (2) data analysis was carried out by qualitative content analysis. The results of this study indicate that, the existence of local government websites in West Java province as a medium for public information disclosure has not been maximized. Public Information Openness Law No. 14 of 2008 on the Regency / City website in West Java Province has not been fully implemented in the official website. The implementation of financial information disclosure for regional governments in West Java province has not been maximized. Only a few have applied financial information disclosure in accordance with Government Regulation No. 71 of 2010 concerning Government Accounting Standards, namely from the 27 Regencies / Cities in West Java, only 12 Regencies / Cities or 44% have applied financial information disclosure.
