Abstract

Garbage is one of the sources of problems that the Indonesian people always face directly or indirectly. Along with the increase in the rate of development, the increase in population and industrial activity causes an increase in the amount of waste. The waste generated by PT. PELINDO Regional East Java is still managed conventionally. Garbage is disposed of in unsorted containers, then transported to TPS, then to TPA. The average waste generated in 2021 is 15385.4 kg/day or 88.6 m3/day. One of the efforts that can be done to overcome the waste problem at PT. PELINDO Regional East Java is to redesign the waste depot of PT. PELINDO Regional East Java became a Waste Management 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). In carrying out the planning of TPS 3R, it is necessary to calculate the volume of waste generation, composition and so on. The calculation method used in this plan refers to SNI 19-3964-1994. In this plan, the lifespan of the 3R TPS is projected for the next 10 years. So it is projected that the highest volume of waste generation in 2022 will reach 105.1 m3/day with a population of 43.751 people. The planned waste management uses the 3R method, namely Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. This plan consists of 3 buildings, namely, TPS 3R building, Inorganic Waste Storage, and Compost House. The TPS 3R building area is 430 m2, the Inorganic Waste Storage area is 98 m2, and the Compost House area is 181 m2. The economic potential of planning is Rp. 12,781,792 per day or Rp. 383,453,760 per month. In addition to the economic potential, there are also operational and maintenance costs of Rp. 90,884,000. And the budget plan (RAB) that must be issued for planning is Rp. 2,427,275,451. Keywords: Management, Processing, Waste, TPS 3R
