Abstract

Tomato is the most consumed fruit by the public either directly or in processed form. The demand for tomatoes in the market continues to increase but the availability of production is still low. The increase in tomato production can be supported through the provision of growth regulators and liquid organic fertilizers. The purpose of this study was to determine the best concentration due to the application of the concentration of paklobutrazole and various types of liquid organic fertilizer and the effect of the interaction between these two factors. This research was conducted at Jalan Simowau Indah Blok H, Taman District, Sidoarjo Regency, starting from January to March 2022 using a factorial Completely Randomized Design (RAL). The first factor is the concentration of paclobutrazole P0=control; P1= 125 ppm; P2= 150 ppm; P3= 175 ppm, the second factor is the type of liquid organic fertilizer 200 ml/plant K1= Fish Waste; K2= Water Hyacinth; K3= Banana peel. The results showed that the concentration of 125 ppm paklobutrazole and fish waste liquid organic fertilizer had a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, age of flowering, number of flowers, fruit shelf life, number of fruits per harvest period, total number of fruits and fruit weight per harvest period.
