Abstract

System Usability Scale (SUS) is a questionnaire that can be used to measure the usability of computer systems according to the subjective point of view of the user. The research began with conducting interviews with students of the Environmental Engineering study program, from the results of the interview it was known that according to the student, the Environmental Engineering website was wait so long when displaying pages compared to other study program websites, this website has features that are not complicated and easy to understand, but the information and news provided are sometimes still not updated. Therefore, students are less interested in re-accessing the website, and choose to ask friends if there is the latest information. Therefore, this study aims to measure the level of usability on the Environmental Engineering website using the System Usability Scale (SUS) measuring model. In measuring the level of usability on the website of the Environmental Engineering study program, it received a SUS score of 61.The validity test showed that Rhitung was greater than Rtabel, so that 10 question items were valid and at the reliability test stage it showed that the Cronbach's Alpha value for 10 questionnaire items was 0.703, greater than 0.7 so that this questionnaire was considered reliable. The results of this study showed that the measurement of usability on the website of the Environmental Engineering study program at UPN "Veteran" Jawa Timur received an SUS score of 61. In the assessment of "Acceptability Range" the website of the Environmental Engineering study program can be categorized as "Marginal Low", get a "D" assessment on the "Grade Scale" assessment then on the "Adjectice Ratings" website of the Environmental Engineering study program get a "Good" assessment, which means it is well received by the respondents.
