Abstract

Sidoarjo Regency based on geographical location is a regency in East Java province which borders on the north of the city of Surabaya and Gresik Regency, on the east of the Madura Strait, on the south of Pasuruan Regency, and on the west of Mojokerto Regency. Together with Gresik Regency, Sidoarjo Regency is one of the main buffers in Surabaya City and is included in Gerbangkertasusila. Sidoarjo Regency has a fairly high level of congestion. Congestion occurred on Raya Waru street, Letjen S. Parman street, Ahmad Yani street, Raya Tebel street, and Raya Buduran street which is Jalan Surabaya-Malang. A traffic jam that occurs during peak hours both in the morning at 06.00-08.00 WIB and in the afternoon at 16.00-18.00 WIB which occurs on weekdays Monday to Friday with an increase in the degree of saturation (DS) which can affect the noise level by using the theoretical basis from the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI) as well as assessing the volume of vehicles carried out by direct surveys. The results of the survey of the degree of saturation on the effect of noise will be carried out with a linear regression test to determine the relationship between the value of the degree of saturation (DS) with the noise value and a T-test will be carried out to determine the value of the difference in mean. From this research, thematic mapping will be carried out using GIS (Geographic Information System) tools with ArcGIS application. The conclusions obtained in this study were the highest noise value of 91.74 occurred at 17.00-18.00 WIB in the direction of Sidoarjo on Jalan Raya Buduran and the value of the degree of saturation (DS) 1.12 with a vehicle volume value of 3193.9. The largest linear regression analysis was y = 73.136+20.783DS where between (DS) and Leq (dBA) were not related to each other, sig 0.299> 0.05. The highest DS T-test occurred during the morning and evening rush hours towards Surabaya, namely 1.086 and 1.098, and the highest Leq occurred during the morning rush hour towards Surabaya and afternoon towards Sidoarjo, namely 91.464 and 91.446.
