Abstract

A good product is a product that can be made based on the problems that occur among the com- munity with various purposes such as safety, convenience and usability so as to make the product more valuable. Technology helps researchers a lot to design and develop a product, this can be proven by the many innovations and inventions that are simple to complex. This previous research was also based on the results of interviews with several residents of Medokanayu who wanted a portable anti-rain drying product that could help speed up drying, which previously did not have it or something new for the residents. This rainproof portable clothes dryer was designed using the Design for Assembly (DFA) and Pahl And Beitz methods. The result of this research is to develop a portable anti-rain drying product which later can be used as another option for the design of the development of anti-rain drying products.
