Abstract

A brief description of the process of the Aluminum Ammonium Sulfate factory is as follows: First, the Alum Cake and Ammonium Sulfate are dissolved in each solvent tank using process water, then the alum cake solution and ammonium sulfate solution are introduced into the reactor to be reacted to form aluminum ammonium sulfate. The aluminum ammonium sulfate solution was then concentrated using an evaporator. After the evaporator, the aluminum ammonium sulfate solution will be crystallized in the crystallizer. Then the aluminum ammonium sulfate crystals that come out of the crystallizer are separated from the mother liquor using a centrifuge. After that, the crystals will be dried using a rotary dryer, then the dried crystals will be uniform in size using a ball mill, after which they will be screened and the undersized ones will go to the silo for temporary storage and the product is ready to be marketed.
