Abstract

PT Exel Mandiri Innovation is a company engaged in the manufacturing of tools for food manufacturing. In the project and manufacturing section of PT. Exel Mandiri Innovation produces various orders from customers who are companies engaged in food manufacturing. In the era of the Covid-19 pandemic, it had a fairly influential impact on product demand. The level of demand for pipe holder products tends to experience significant instability in a certain period. Raw material planning is less controlled due to unpredictable and well-planned demand. Existing raw materials tend to accumulate in storage warehouses. In this case the method proposed to be a solution to the problem of raw material planning is Material Requirement Planning (MRP) which can provide planning methods to save inventory costs. This method provides research results, namely the chosen lot sizing technique is POQ with regular scheduling based on the quantity of the unit. This method results in depreciation of inventory costs of Rp. 32.979.718 or about 36% with the company's inventory cost is Rp. 77.275.254 to Rp. 44.295.536,-
