Abstract

The United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) is one of the agency of the United Nations (UN). This organization is engaged in the field of tourist. The occurrence of the Covid-19 pandemic around the world has caused many problematic. The Covid-19 pandemic has had a direct impact, especially in the tourist. This is what makes UNWTO committed to sector reactivation tourism affected by Covid-19. In the tourism sector, UNWTO defines Bali as a pilot model in Indonesia. Considering Bali's priority as a tourist destination world-famous flagship. Therefore, this research will discuss about the role of UNWTO in reactivation of tourism due to COVID-19 in Bali, Indonesia. In explaining this phenomenon, the author uses a theoretical basis the organizational role of Clive Archer and the theory of tourism understanding. Then, The scope of this research is Bali and UNWTO with a time range starting in 2020 until 2021. This research method uses the descriptive with data collection techniques and qualitative data analysis. Then, writer using secondary data sources. Secondary data sources, namely by means of collect articles and documents of official UNWTO reports that are in internet, and books. Then, the author summarizes them into one to be used as data which can be reported. Keywords: UNWTO, Tourism, Bali, Covid-19
