Abstract

This research is based on the existence of health problems that occur in Ghana. The Body Shop's contribution through the Community Fair Trade Program is to support the resolution of Ghana's health problems. There are parties or stakeholders who have an interest in various forms of engagement, namely the Global Shea Alliance (GSA) in the implementation of the Community Fair Trade Program. This study aims to determine the role of the Global Shea Alliance (GSA) stakeholder in the implementation of The Body Shop's Community Fair Trade Program in Ghana by using Stakeholder Engagement Theory by Greenwood. This research is a descriptive type of research. The data and analysis results in this study are in the form of detailed descriptions in written sentences. The right approach used in this research is the approach approach, the purpose of which is to bring up an understanding of the phenomenon being discussed or the object of research as a whole and in the form of words and language. The results of the research based on Stakeholder Engagement by Greenwood (2007) on the Global Shea Alliance in the implementation of the Community Fair Trade Program by The Body Shop, namely: (1) the form of responsibility involvement in the Fiduciary Duty indicator is a form of involvement in the settlement of moral obligations by helping resolve health issues in the community. Ghana through the distribution of Shea, (2) the form of involvement in the indicators of consent, fairness, and Cooperation is by supervising the GSA with The Body Shop in the implementation of the Fair Trade program, (3) The form of responsibility involvement in the fairness indicator is that the GSA has a strategic task to design, develop, and deliver strategies that drive a competitive and sustainable shea industry around the world, including in Ghana.
