Abstract
Komunikasi yang ada pada keluarga yang terjadi di antara orangtua dengan anak harus dilandasi dengan rasa cinta dan kasih sayang, kejujuran, kepercayaan, dan keterbukaan antara satu sama lain. Proses komunikasi keluarga baik pada keluarga utuh maupun keluarga bercerai memiliki proses penyampaian pesan tersendiri dan dapat mendidik remaja. Penelitian yang digunakan dalam skripsi ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teori yang digunakan ialah teori dari Rae Sedwig berdasarkan bukunya yang berjudul Komunikasi Keluarga. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan diketahui bahwa penerapan komunikasi Keluarga Utuh dan Bercerai dapat membentuk karakter anak remaja yang nantinya juga akan membentuk tingkah laku remaja itu sendiri. Proses komunikasi yang ada pada keluarga juga harus memiliki rasa nyaman, keterbukaan, dan kepercayaan satu sama lain agar dapat berjalan dengan harmonis. Kata Kunci: Komunikasi Keluarga, Keluarga Utuh, Keluarga Bercerai, Remaja The family-existing communication between parents and children should be based on love and affection, honesty, trust and openness between one another. The process of family communication both in whole families and divorced families have their own message delivery process and can educate adolescent. The research used in this thesis is descriptive research using qualitative approach. The theory used is the theory Rae Sedwig based on this book entitled Family Communication. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion is known that the implementation of Whole Family communication and Divorce can form a character of adolescent who will also form the behavior of adolescent themselves. The process of communication that exists in the family should also have a sense of comfort, openness, and trust with each other in order to run harmonious.
