Abstract

Sewing business is a business in the service sector carried out by tailors in making or repairing clothes. Currently the number of tailors is increasing with various kinds of expertise. However, sewing service users sometimes find it difficult to find tailors that suit their needs. Users also have to take the time to come directly to the tailor's location, with the aim of just seeing and asking about the tailor's ability or directly placing an order for sewing even though the distance and the destination are still uncertain. This makes these activities tend to be less effective. The rapid development of technology is currently widely used by business people to promote their business, one of the businesses that can be promoted is the sewing service business. To help with this problem, the author wants to develop an Android-based Tailor Finder Application Using Location Based Services (LBS) Technology and the SMART Method. This application applies LBS technology to display the distance and location between the customer and the tailor, and changes the location of the customer's and tailor's addresses while updating the data. And the application of the SMART method that is implemented in the application is used for ranking the tailor data obtained from the rating results, and displays the data in the form of tailor recommendations.
