Abstract

Rice gogo rancah productivity is still low compared to rice paddy productivity. One of the factors that influence the high production of Rice gogo rancah is the density of plants. This can be overcome by managing crop populations per unit area through setting planting distances and also setting the right number of seeds per planting hole in order to provide a good end result and more efficient in land use. This research aims to find out the interaction between the planting distance and the number of seeds need to plant properly so as to provide the best influence on the growth and yield of rice cultivation system gogo rancah in the rice fields tadah rain Puter Village District Kembangbahu Lamongan. The research was conducted from December 2019 to April 2020. This study uses a divided tile design. The main plot of planting distance consisting of J1 (25 cm x 20 cm), J2 (25 cm x 25 cm), J3 (25 cm x 20 cm) and the child plot number of seeds per planting hole consisting of B1 (3 seeds) B2 (5 seeds) B3 (7 seeds) B4 (9 seeds) repeated three times. Data analysis in this study using F test level 5%, and if test F shows a real influence then conducted further tests using DMRT level 5%. The results showed the combination of J1B4 gave the best results on the parameters of plant length at the age of 55 HSS (83.25 cm) and 65 HSS (83.25 cm), while in combination J3B4 showed the best result on the parameters of leaf count (139.91) and the number of sap sap at the age of 55 HSS (31.25) and 65 HSS (31.41). The J1 treatment showed the best results on the plant length parameters at the age of 45 HSS (58.78 cm), while in the J3 treatment that showed the best results on the parameters of the number of sap sap at the age of 25 HSS (11 47), 35 HSS (17.72), and 45 HSS (23.79) and weigh 1000 grains (28.99 grams). Treatment B4 showed the best results on the parameters of the number of sapleds per clump at the age of 25 HSS (11.16), 35 HSS (18.25), and 45 HSS (24.02), the number of panicles per clump (25.36), dry grain harvest per plot (2.39 kg) and dry grain harvest per hectare (7.97 tons).
