Abstract

The tomato plant (Lycopersicum esculentum) is a horticultural plant that is much favored and developed in Indonesia. According to the Central Statistics Agency (2018), the production of tomato plants in East Java in 2017 reached 66,758 tons, then decreased in 2018, resulting in 65,585 tons. So that in an effort to increase productivity it is necessary to carry out proper cultivation techniques, one of which is the use of fertilizers. The market availability of NPK fertilizer is in the form of subsidized or assisted government fertilizers and factory-produced fertilizers. Many farmers, especially in Klinter Hamlet, think that using fertilizers released by the factory at a higher price will get higher production compared to subsidized government-assisted fertilizers. The role of fertilizers in the implementation of tomato cultivation is an important factor, so it is necessary to research the kinds of NPK fertilizers and the proper dosage for the growth and yield of tomato plants (Lycopersicum esculentum). This research was conducted on the land of Klinter Hamlet, Pelem Village, Kertosono District, Nganjuk Regency. This research was conducted from February to June 2020. Experiments This research was a factorial experiment which was arranged using a randomized block design (RBD) with three replications where Factor I was the type of NPK fertilizer treatment. (Phonska Subsidies, Phonska Plus and Mutiara) and Factor II is the treatment of NPK fertilizer doses (20, 30 and 40 grams / plant). The results showed that the NPK fertilizer dosage of 40 grams / plant was the best result. This was indicated by the influence on the parameters of the number of flowers, number of fruits and fruit weight. Keywords: Tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum), NPK Fertilizer, Kinds, Dosage
