Abstract
ABSTRACT In the era of technological advancement, product development is increasingly evolving and innovative. This is also applied to the design of furniture products offered on the market with low prices and quality designs. Currently, furniture manufacturers only focus on the design that are currently trending in society without looking at the ergonomics aspects of these furniture products. With a room that is not too spacious, this product has a versatile function and advantages in terms of capacity, it’s very appropriate to use for a narrow and limited space. Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is a method to determine consumer desires by collecting customer voices and customer needs. From the design of this ergonomic and multifunctional table, it has several advantages compared to the initial dressing table, in addition to being more suitable according to the user's needs, this proposal dressing table has several functions that are not owned by the initial dressing table which can be folded and chairs that can be put together, so this dressing table doesn't need a large size when it’s not to be used. This dressing table is also equipped with enough storage so that it can be used more leverage. The mean value of Importance To Customer of initial dressing table is 3.46 and the mean value of Customer Satisfaction Performance of proposal dressing table is 4.5, so the proposal dressing table is more ergonomic compared to the initial dressing table.
