Abstract

At the end of 2019, the world was shocked by the emergence of the corona virus which can cause respiratory system disorders. In order to reduce the spread of the Covid-19 virus, the Indonesian government issued a new regulation regarding restrictions on physical accessibility in public spaces such as coffee shops. This regulation was then followed by design changes to coffee shops that began to follow the Covid-19 health protocol and changes in consumer behavior when visiting coffee shops in the current pandemic era. Therefore, the main focus of this study is to analyze the extent to which changes in coffee shop design can affect visitor behavior in the current pandemic era. This study uses a quantitative approach with the help of correlation analysis from Spearman. Data collection was carried out by observing coffee shop designs in the pandemic era and distributing questionnaires to 200 coffee shop visitors in the city of Bandung. The results of this study found a positive correlation between changes in coffee shop design and visitor behavior in the Covid-19 pandemic era. Keywords Coffee shop, Consumen behavior, Correlation, Design, Pandemic Covid-19
