Abstract

The areas that are predicted to be the golden triangle are the cities of Yogyakarta, Solo and Semarang. The three regions cooperate with each other within the scope of DIY-Central Java. Regional development cannot be separated from national development; therefore, regional governments are obliged to cooperate in using resources to design the regional economy. The analysis techniques applied in this research are Location Quotient, Shift Share and Typology Klasssen with quantitative research methods. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing which sectors are superior and can also have an influence both internally and externally. The results of this study are that in these three cities or the golden triangle of the Joglosemar area, there are 8 sectors based on Location Quotient analysis including the processing industry, electricity and gas supply, water supply, waste management, waste, and recycling; provision of facilities and food; information and communication; financial and insurance services; housing; company services; government administration, defense and compulsory social security. Through Shift Share analysis of the information and communication sector; Education services sector; also the health service sector and social activities are sectors that are able to encourage economic growth in the Joglosemar area.
