Abstract

Peanut is widely cultivated in Indonesia and a production plant. Farmers in Indonesia cultivate peanut plants (Arachis hypogaea L.) as a use of vacant land after the harvest of the main crops. The aim of this research is to know the interaction between concentration and time interval of liquid organic fertilizer for the increase of growth and yield of peanut plants. This research was conducted at field in Desa Kedungwonokerto, Kecamatan Prambon, Kabupaten Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur using Randomized Block Design with 2 factors. The first factor is concentration of liquid organic fertilizer which has 3 levels (P1 = 4 ml/l, P2 = 6 ml/l, dan P3 = 8 ml/l). The second factor is time interval which has 3 levels (K1 = interval 5 days, K2 = interval 10 days, dan K3 = interval 15 days). The metode that used is 9 combination treatments repeated 3 times and continued with 5% Honestly Significant Difference. The result showed that the combination treatment between concentratration and time interval of liquid organic fertilizer make a significant difference for plant height . The P2K2 combination (concentration 6 ml/l and time interval 10 days) give the highest result of plant height 37.44 cm. The treatment of concentration make a significant difference for every parameter except day of flower appearance and empty pod. Heavy dry pods per hectare with a concentration of POC 6 ml/l produces as much as 3388.5 kg. The treatment of time interval make a significant difference for plant height 3 weeks after planting.
