Abstract

ABSTRACT HENDRAWAN SUSANTO, 1542010116, MARKETING STRATEGY IN IMPROVING SALES OF PO HARAPAN JAYA TICKETS IN TULUNGAGUNG This study uses PO Harapan Jaya Tulungagung located in the transportation business as the object of research. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze marketing strategies in increasing ticket sales at PO Harapan Jaya Tulungagung The research method used is descriptive which is part of a qualitative analysis using observational data collection techniques, documentation, interviews and triangulation related to marketing strategies based on 7p marketing indicators used by researchers in identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats with the SWOT method on PO Harapan Jaya Tulungagung. The results of the SWOT method are used as a basis for determining marketing strategies that can be carried out by PO Harapan Jaya Tulungagung in increasing ticket sales. From this research, the results of the Internal Factor Analysis Summary which shows strength of 1.85 and weakness of 1.15. While the results of the External Factor Analysis Summary showed that the threat was 1.50 and the opportunity was 1.35. The choice of strategy is ST to use power to overcome threats so that in the SWOT diagram lies in quadrant II, the company has a large threat but there is strength in terms of the company's internal so the strategy that must be applied is to use strengths that take advantage of long-term opportunities by diversifying strategy in products or market Keywords: Marketing Strategy, SWOT Analysis
