Abstract

The greater the population growth, the greater the demand for supply the electricity needed, it is possible for big cities such as districts to Bekasi increases the need for electricity supply by building a substation who has cut off the flow of SUTT from Ungaran to Jakarta to provide supply electricity to Bekasi district first by going through a steel tower structure dead end tower type. The reason for choosing the steel tower structure is because it is easy to assemble and easy to maintain. In this study, the design and stability analysis were carried out steel structure for the SUTT tower type dead end tower located in the district Bekasi is because the tower has an unusual structure in Generally, it has four circuits in the tower body and is a corner tower. The method used for the control of tensile and compressive strength as well as overturning control in this study is the LRFD method and the software used is Ms. Tower. With reference to wind load regulations from TIA/EIA-222-F and load cable tension from several literatures, the results of the overturning moment stability are 3.21 of the maximum limit based on the SPLN is 2. The largest displacement due to combined loading is 0.1907 meters from the maximum limit based on SNI 1729:2015 is H/200 = 51.8/200 = 0.259 meters. Keywords: Stability, connection, foundation, displacement.
