Abstract

Information technology in this era has developed rapidly. Many sectors use information technology as a means to facilitate jobs from the sector. One of the useful developments for various sectors is data mining, which is the process of finding information by finding new patterns in big data. Data Mining is a process processing data into more useful and more accessible information used. The motor vehicle dealer business is one of the most requires the role of information technology for its business needs. One thing What is needed in the sale of motorized vehicles is a system for grouping unit data based on unit quality. With problems In this case, a system is made to group the units to be sold based on the quality and feasibility of the unit, so that the output is in the form of grade the quality of the motor that can be used as a reference by the company to determine the purchase price or selling price of the unit to be procured and/or sold. The process of classifying used motorcycle grades at UD. Motorcycle Gems can done with the system using the C4.5 algorithm the system that is built will create decision rules for find out the grade of used motorbikes that will be procured by motorbike dealers that. With a series of stages, starting from data collection, preprocessing, calculation of training data to select root attributes, create branches for each category to each class, and construct a decision tree with the final decision rule as the classification rule in this study. The results of the decision tree that was built yielded sufficient results good. The performance test value of each parameter, such as accuracy, precision, recall, and specificity in decision trees and decision rules already created can reach a value of 100%.
