Abstract

Technology is developing so rapidly in the current era, especially regarding with rapid information and communication technology By utilizing technology that has developed is expected to provide many benefits various aspects of life, including in the health sector. Heart rate is one of the determining indicators or vital signs in determining health. Patients with heart disease often experience sudden disturbances and of course, fast handling is needed to avoid things that not chill. Therefore we need a technology that can detect heart rate to make it easier for the family to know the health condition heart disease sufferer Internet of things (IoT) based heart rate monitoring application reduce anxiety for the families of heart attack patients. Suite The function of the microcontroller is to execute user commands sent via the android application as well as a means of providing information on health conditions for communication between the android application and the microcontroller using the internet which connects the microcontroller with the smartphone.
