Abstract
This study aims to provide knowledge and understanding regarding the distribution of inheritance based on a will (which is not done) for children Adoption in terms of Islamic law, in Islamic law adopted children are not recognized legally because of differences in mazab or lineage so that it becomes These problems and cases often occur, giving rise to certain problems, for example in inheritance issues, so that the principle of adoption in Islamic law is only parenting, giving love and education. Even though the Qur'an does not give the right for an adopted child to receive an inheritance from his adoptive parents, however in the Compilation of Islamic Law which is abbreviated as (KHI) which is a human product from various schools of thought and used as a source of law in Indonesia our country provides provisions that adopted children that in the perspective of Islamic law or several articles in the compilation of Islamic law (KHI) for children adoption is specifically regulated regarding the distribution of inheritance.
