Abstract
In the implementation of rehabilitation for children as drug abusers in The Surabaya Rehabilitation Center has the following stages: Stages of assessment different in each rehabilitation center, namely at the SOS House, Pondok Inabah Islamic Boarding School and Mawardi Rehabilitation Center in Surabaya. In stages The assessment itself is the stage of determining which aims to: follow up whether inpatient or outpatient. If the patient must undergoing hospitalization, the patient or client then he must undergo all program activities and stay for several months, while outpatient so he continued to run the program and counseling but did not stay. However, at the Inabah Islamic Boarding School all are required to be hospitalized. After that they have to continue to undergo outpatient treatment, which is like counseling. There are several factors that hinder the implementation rehabilitation for children as drug abusers, namely the lack of support from family, rehabilitation homes are not accepted by local residents, lack of facilities and infrastructure, funding and formal education. Besides it's at the rehabilitation center in carrying out rehabilitation for children school age, those undergoing rehabilitation can still attend school formal. This has gone through several considerations including the benefits of education in formal schools is considered to be able to create an atmosphere teaching and learning so that children can develop their potential, build social spirit, train mental, physical discipline and train responsibility answer.
