Abstract
Sampang is one of the regencies on the island of Madura which has tourism potential which can be developed especially in the cultural tourism sector, one of which is the Malate Sato'or Dance. Malate Sato'or is one of the traditional dances typical of Sampang Regency which was deliberately developed by the local community by adhering to or applying previous customs. Meanwhile, there are two stages of the design methodology carried out, namely the preparation stage and the creation stage. Preparation stage includes data collection, data analysis, synthesis, and determination of the design object. while the creation stage includes preproduction, production, and post-production. In the preparation stage, it can be said as a process of analyzing data obtained from data collection in the form of observations, interviews, and questionnaires. Then the analysis process to find a design solution from the collected data using Domain and Taxonomy analysis. from the analysis process can be a keyword or keywords in the form of "Exotic Culture Sampang". With these keywords, it can be used as a reference in creating the design concept for making promotional videos for Sampang Regency through cultural tourism. The concept of designing this video includes information about tourism in Sampang Regency, starting from cultural tourism, natural tourism, culinary, and the life of the Sampang people.
