Abstract
The name of Indonesia was once fragrant through its swimming athletes in various places international competition event. From the latest data, Yessy V Yosaputra is able to won the gold medal in the 200 meter backstroke at the 2011 SEA Games In 2014, Ahmad Rijali won a bronze medal in the Asean PARA Games 100 m freestyle. Surabaya has the potential to produce athletes who later can excel for Indonesia in international competitions, including for branches untuk swimming, The need for swimming sports stadiums and water polo in Surabaya is addressed as one of the facilities that serves as a place or headquarters for sports East Java branch of water sports, a center to accommodate the coaching and training of East Java water sports athletes, as well as a place for organizing water sports includes: swimming, swimming, diving, and standard water polo international. The design concept refers to the theme raised in designing Swimming and Water Polo Sports Stadium in Surabaya is related to activities and characteristics of the sport itself. The author uses a theme that taken from the nature of water that is flexible. Specifically, the theme taken is Flexibility. With the holding of the Swimming Sports Stadium and Water Polo in Surabaya, Adequate facilities are expected to be able to improve quality games for swimming and water polo athletes in Surabaya, and supporting the program government and at the same time more popularize and develop this sport in the future Keywords: Sports, Swimming and Water Polo, Flexibility, Surabaya
