Abstract

Assuming a number of benchmarks from a large amount that is able to meet the needs of rice in a certain period as an indicator of food security. The purpose of this study is (1) Analyzing the effect of fluctuations regarding rice on prices in Jakarta PT. Tjipinang Jaya Food Station, (2) analyzes the development and forecasting variables independent of the dependent variable. The research method used is the method of multiple linear regression and forecasting using double exponential smoothing. Based on the results, all of Jakarta's rice production variables, Jakarta's per capita consumption level, Jakarta's debt rate, national rice imports and Jakarta's rice demand simultaneously have a significant effect on rice price variables at PT. Tjipinang Jaya Food Station and its development and forecasting show the results of a decline and an increase in the need for rising rice prices every year and the role of the private sector to become a competitor who is very worried about monopolizing the rice market in DKI Jakarta. Regarding welfare policies and inspectors. Keywords: Availability, Price, Multiple Linear Regression, Exponential Double Smoothing.
