Abstract

Chilli pepper is one of horticulture product that has high economic value and it also widely used for household comsumption as well as for food process materials. The yields of chilli pepper in 2018 has decreased, one of many factors is because of fertilization. This study aims to determine the differences between humic and non-humic NPK fertilizer that applied in chilli cultivation. This study was conducted at Faculty of Agriculture UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur in December 2019 until May 2020. This research is used randomized block with single factor, which are non-humic NPK fertilizer 10g/plant (K1), non-humic NPK fertilizer 20 g/plant (K2), non-humic NPK fertilizer 30 g/plant (K3), non-humic NPK fertilizer 40 g/plant (K4), humic NPK fertilizer 10 g/plant (K5), humic NPK fertilizer 20 g/plant (K6), humic NPK fertilizer 30 g/plant (K7), humic NPK fertilizer 40 g/plant (K8). The results of this study showed that the yields of chilli pepper started to vi stagnate in treatment of non-humic NPK fertilizer with the proportion increase of weight at dose 30 g/plant and 40 g/plant is 1,2 %, meanwhile in treatment of humic NPK fertilizer the yields of chilli pepper continued to increase with an increase of proportion is 20,5 %. There was no significant difference in the treatment of humic NPK fertilizer and non-humic NPK fertilizer in each dosage. Keywords : Chilli Pepper, NPK, Humic
