Abstract
Distribution is an activity to move products from the supplier to the consumer in a supply chain which the right of distribution, it will benefit all parties. PT.Wira Sedana Lestari is a company engaged in the provision of contruction materials. The exist problem in PT.Wira Sedana Lestari until now is distribution of the company is still expensive, because the distribution being done with one route that is from company to one agent and then back to the company. Then the author make a research using methods of Clark and Wright Saving Heuristics to determine the optimal distribution in order to minimize the cost. From the results of the data processing can be known the distance of the route in the amount the district of Sidoarjo 384.7 km with cost savings of IDR 1.213.330, for the city of Surabaya 163.3 km with cost savings of IDR 296.240, and for the district of Gresik 208.2 km with cost savings of IDR 702.190. Keywords : Distribution , Transportation Costs , Optimal Route , Clark and Wright Saving Heuristic.
