Abstract
Households are the smallest unit of community life. Sidoarjo Regency has a unique group of goat farmers called Kampung Kambing, which is located in Darmasi Village, Buduran Subdistrict. The sampling method used Saturated Sampling which amounted to 32 farmers. The research objectives were first, to describe the characteristics of goat farmer households. Second, to analyze the income and expenditure patterns of goat farmer households. Third, analyze the factors that influence the expenditure of goat breeder households. Data analysis methods of the first and second objectives using descriptive statistics while the third objective using the Two Stage Least (2 SLS) method. The results of this study are the characteristics of farmer households including productive age and household expenditure of goat farmers dominated by non-food consumption expenditure of 51.48% while food consumption amounted to 48.52%. The largest household income is non-livestock farming income of 47.9% and livestock farming income of 28.92%. Keyword: Household, Income, Cosumption
