Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the variables work motivation adn work descipline that effect employee performance at PDAM Purbalingga city. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study are all permanent clans. The sample of this research is 96 respondents. With a Propotionate stratifies random sampling technique. Using primary primary data obtained through questionnaries. The independent variables are Work Motivation and Work Dicipline, while the dependent variable is Employee Performance. This study fount that employee perfoormance is influenced by motivation variables such as responsibility, clear target, feedback, share ownership, strive to outperform others, meet the needs of life. And the variable discipline of work in compliance with the rules, effective in work, corrective, timely. Based on the result of multiple linier regression analysis that simultaneously shows that the independent variable of work Motivation and Work Discipline have significant influence on the dependent variable Employee Performance, avidenced by the value of Fhitung (23,231) > Ftabel (3,09). Partially indicated that work motivation variable has significant influence to employee performence, proved bt tcount (3,331) > ttabel (1,985). Work discipline variables partially indicate that have a significant influence on employee performance, evidenced by the value of tcount (4,899) > ttabel (1,985). The independent variable that gives the greatest influence to employee performance is discipline. Keywords: Work Motivation, Work Disipline, Employee Performance
