Abstract

Tomatoes have a good market because of their high economic value and are much loved by the community. The need for tomatoes increases every year, but it is often not matched by an increase in production. This increase in production can be achieved through an additional effort applied to cultivation techniques. This study aims to obtain the right combination of Hormonik Plant Growth Regulator (PGR) concentrations and the best dose of NPK fertilizer for the growth and yield of tomato plants. This study used a factorial experimental method with a completely randomized design (CRD). The first factor was the concentration of Hormonik PGR (H) in 4 treatment levels consisting of 0 or control variable (H0), 6 ml/l (H1), 7 ml/l (H2), and 8 ml/l (H3). The second factor was the dose of NPK fertilizer (N) in 4 treatment levels consisting of 600 kg/ha (N1), 800 kg/ha (N2), 1.000 kg/ha (N3), and 1.200 kg/ha (N4). The results showed that the combination of 6 ml/l Hormonik PGR + 40 g/plant NPK fertilizer increased the number of fruits per plant by 49,00 and the weight of fruit per plant by 1.572,3 g.
